The Lodge at Palisades Creek is positioned along the banks of the South Fork of the Snake River in Irwin, Idaho. We are a short drive from either Jackson Hole Wyoming or alternatively Idaho Falls Idaho. We are happy to offer pick up services from the Jackson Hole or Idaho Falls airports at your request.
The Lodge is located along US Highway 26 approximately 49 miles North East of Idaho Falls. If you are flying here, the airports in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Idaho Falls, Idaho are both excellent options for arrival to Irwin, Idaho. Alternatively, many guests utilize the Salt Lake City, Utah International airport which requires a half day to a full day's (approx. 5 hours) travel north to Idaho.
The Jackson Hole Airport offers a travel destination in itself as well as an incredible scenic drive and wildlife viewing opportunities. The town of Jackson Hole is famous for shopping, galleries, 5-star dining and family activities galore.
Serviced by Alaska Airlines, America West, Delta, Northwest and United Airlines. Idaho Falls Regional Airport is approximately 45 minutes south of The Lodge at Palisades Creek.
Serviced by American, Delta, Nothwest, Skywest, United and United Express Airlines. Jackson Hole Airport is approx. approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes from The Lodge at Palisades Creek.
Serviced by all major national and international airline carriers including: America West, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Northwest, Skywest, Southwest, and United Airlines. Salt Lake City International Airport is a major hub for several airlines and can offer more economical fares and car rental rates.
The Lodge is located 49 miles, (approx. 55 minutes) southeast on Highway 26 from Idaho Falls, Idaho. Highway 26 towards Jackson leads directly to The Lodge. Only miles of fertile farmland and the town of Swan Valley separate the Lodge from Idaho Falls. The Lodge at Palisades Creek will be on your right with excellent signing visible. If you reach the Palisades Reservoir you have passed us by 3 miles. Do not hesitate to contact the Lodge for directions.
Jackson is a spectacular 60 mile, approx. 1 hour 18 minutes drive to The Lodge at Palisades Creek. If you drive from Jackson, take State Highway 22 through Wilson WY and up and over the Teton Pass to Victor, Idaho. Once in Victor, turn left onto Highway 31 which travels over Pine Creek Pass. Once you have reached the end on Highway 31 you will be in Swan Valley Idaho. Turn Left at the main stop sign and travel south on Highway 26 for about 4.9 miles where you will find The Lodge on the right, about 1 mile and 1/2 after the Spring Creek Bridge.
SLC is an International Airport and while we advise a connection flight to Jackson Hole you may opt for driving up from SLC, Utah. The drive from SLC is 265 miles, approx. 4 hours from our lodge. Road construction and/or traffic conditions or weather can render this drive to a 5+ hours. Drive north on I-15 to Idaho Falls then Highway 26 to Swan Valley and on to Irwin, Idaho.
