Justin, I would like to thank you, Rayna, and especially Jaason Pruett for making our trip to the South Fork a truly great experience. Jaason's knowledge and personality were unmatched in all of my trips on the South Fork. I have had the good fortune to fish out there since 1983 and this was by far my best trip. I wanted to take a moment to thank you and the staff for yet again another wonderful stay at The Lodge. My son Grant and I really had a great time…It is unfortunate the Bureau of Reclamation can’t get their act together because that river is just way too high but then again they may not have a choice given the high amount of runoff this year. I am hoping that I timed my coming July trip well for the Salmon Fly.
As well, I just wanted to note that there has been a transparent transition, at least in the eyes of the guest, from Stan to your personally managing The Lodge. Your attention to detail and consistency in making sure everything for the guest is going smoothly is recognized and greatly appreciated. Even my son Grant commented in saying how he noticed your working hard and making sure we were having a good time. In addition, having gotten to know all the guides well over the past 16 years coming to the Lodge I must share with you that in conversation with many of them they are very supportive and really motivated in your running operations. I believe having an ex-guide and someone who understands what the guide’s days are like seems to be well recognized and appreciated by them. Looks like a good recipe for The Lodge.
Again, I sincerely appreciate your making sure my son’s first experience on the river and at The Lodge was a great one. He is already talking about wanting to go back and as you know, that is music to my ears (maybe not his Mom’s though…).

I really had a great time, and so did all the boys that came to the lodge with me..... We are hoping to come back next year around the same time.... when i went into Yellowstone i did see the wolf's in lemar valley, they were great..
just two ideas for you because i have been to a lot of other lodges, but yours was the best.....
1) try to get orvis to "co-brand" your stuff that you sell at the fly shop..... like hats, t-shirts, and shirts. It could really save the lodge money on the cost of the items.
2) some way guests could get there "boarding Passes" before they leave the lodge. like maybe a form that could be filled out before they went fishing, and the pass be printed out during the day, or a simple computer with a printer that they could do it themselves...... i is really a pain at the airport
again, great run lodge and hope to see you next year

I want to second Dan’s comments and add a couple of points.
1) There is only one lodge we considered this year and it was “The Lodge at Palisades”
2) The reason for this was the outstanding work done by Justin, Jaason and Josh while guiding our families, these guys are SUPER HIGH QUALITY and made the week very special for my family, that is what stimulated me to add Dan and Kathy this year!
3) Of course the Lodge itself is second to none, on the flip side both you and I both know it is the people that make the experience special, so to add you to the list this year was icing on the cake! Also the no charge second fireworks show for the boys was pretty cool too!!
4) I was thrilled when Justin was announced to replace Stan, that is what solidified us being so comfortable coming back, as a guide he sold the Lodge and the experience as if he was already running the place when we fished with him last August!
We will rebook for next year with one phone call, and that is to “The Lodge at Palisades”!

I filled out the survey, and gave the Lodge an excellent review. I just want you to know what a great job you're doing. This is my 4th trip there, and things are better than they've ever been. The staff couldn't have been any more efficient or friendly. The food was better then it's ever been, and the whole operation is just better than it ever was. I can't wait to get back there next July, and know things will continue to improve. Thanks for making my week so enjoyable, and best wishes for a really sucessful 2010.
What a great stay the ABQ group had at TLAPC!
Justin, our guys had the best trip yet (the great fishing helped) but your staff's care and hospitality really made our stay memorable. From Rayna, to Chef Bob, Guy, Vern, BJ and her team, the morning and evening wait staff, to greatest guides on the River--a great big thank you. I will be sending you photos of some really great fish netted during our stay for your wall.
Rayna--please let me know the 2011 and 2012 dates for both our couples group as well as our ABQ father/son outings so I can advise everyone to rebook.
