June fishing on the South Fork

The South Fork is fishing good. The flow is still at 9950 cfs and the water is gin clear. We had a water temp of 49 degrees in the canyon. Nymphing rubber legs and san juan seems to work best right now, also streamers are picking up some nice fish as well. Some dry flies through out the hole river system but you have to be in the right place at the right time.

We are about 4 to 5 degrees away from what could be one of the most spectacular dry fly seasons on the South Fork of the Snake River this year.
